Many of our students plan their French course around one of the island's three annual festivals - the February Carnival, the Traditional Drum Festival in July and All Saints Day in November!

Our French school is located in the beautiful seaside town of Sainte Anne, just 50 metres from one of best beaches in Guadeloupe. The beach is ideal for snorkelling, scuba-diving, windsurfing or relaxing! Our school is conveniently located on one of the main streets in Sainte Anne, with cafés and shops just next door. Our students tell us they love the warm and friendly atmosphere of our school, which has 5 air-conditioned classrooms with multi-media equipment, plus a library and free Internet access.

We offer a range of French courses in Guadeloupe. Our most popular course is the Standard Course, which is intensive enough to ensure good progress, but leaves plenty of time to enjoy Guadeloupe’s beautiful beaches. You can also choose from our Intensive Course, our One-to-One courses or one of our more specialist courses. We keep our maximum class size to just 6 students, (8 in Club 50+ classes), so you’ll receive plenty of individual attention from our fully-qualified and experienced teachers. Please note that on group courses, if you are the only student in your level, you may receive fewer private lessons.

Accommodation in Guadeloupe

On a French course in Guadeloupe, you can choose to stay with one of our carefully selected host families, or in a private apartment plus. At just 100 metres from our school, the private apartments are extremely popular with our students – they all have a bathroom, kitchen, air-conditioning and TV. You can even choose from a sea or garden view!
If you want to fully immerse yourself in the language and the Creole culture during your French course, stay with one of our host families. You can choose from bed and breakfast, or half board (2 meals/day).
You can also choose to stay in a family apartment. You’ll have a single room with private bathroom and basic self-catering facilities in an annex to a host family home. Half board (2 meals/day) is available on request.

TEF Preparation Course
The TEF Preparation Course (30 lessons/week) prepares students for the TEF exam certificate issued by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and includes the exam fee. Please note that you'll need to enrol for the exam 4 weeks prior to the exam date.

Club 50+ French Course in Guadeloupe
If you’re over 50, you are more than welcome to join our normal language courses. However, you may be interested in our 2-week ‘Club 50+’ French course, which combines 20 French lessons/week with a full program of cultural and social activities – you can find a sample program below. Our Club 50+ Course is held three times/year to coincide with the February Carnival, the Traditional Drum Festival in July and All Saints Day in November!
French Club 50+ courses are also available in Nice and Montpellier.
