Our French language school in Chambéry is located in a modern building just 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre and 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. There are excellent facilities for French language learning at the school, which include fully-equipped classrooms, comfortable student lounges, a computer room with Internet access and wireless Internet throughout.

French and Skiing

• Alongside your French language learning experience, why not take the opportunity to improve your skiing as well as your French, combining a French language course in Chambéry or Annecy with skiing at the world famous resorts of Val d'Isere or Les Arcs!
• There are excellent public transport links to the resorts from both towns. Every week, depending on the snow (October to March), the schools arrange day and weekend skiing trips to the biggest skiing resorts in the French Alps.
•  As well as all this, the schools both offer fantastic French and Skiing courses, which consist of 20 French language lessons plus 2 ski trips at the weekend. The course price includes your ski pass and transport to the slopes!

How to get there

Fly to Lyon or Geneva where you can then take public transport to our schools in Annecy or Chambéry. Alternatively, we would be very happy to arrange an airport transfer for you, although this is not included in the course price.

• For students interested in combining a French language course with skiing or snowboarding, the proximity of both towns to the famous French ski resorts of Val d'Isère and Les Arcs is a real advantage.
• The buildings of both of these schools are shared with French students from a local management school. This provides our students with the valuable opportunity to practice their French with native speakers in everyday situations.
• The French language courses at these schools are specifically designed for those interested in learning or becoming more proficient in the French language.
• The schools also encourage students to speak French outside of the classes. In addition to the French language course, our schools regularly organize a range of optional visits, workshops and excursions to complement your French language learning.
