The old town, Benalmádena-Pueblo, lies away from the waterfront, its resplendent white-washed houses climbing into dramatic mountain landscapes. Amongst the narrow streets here, you'll discover a traditional, relaxed way of life, as well as restaurants offering great local dishes! The Castillo de Colomares, a fairytale castle built to commemorate Christopher Columbus, is definitely worth a visit.

Our school in Benalmadena

Our school is located in the scenic hills above the sea. Facilities at the school include 13 air conditioned classrooms, a shaded terrace, cafeteria, student lounge, library, small cinema and a computer room with free Internet access.

Your Spanish course in Benalmádena

There are a variety of ways you can learn Spanish in Benalmádena, including group Spanish lessons, private classes and combined programs, which offer both group and individual lessons.

You can also delve into typical elements of Spanish culture with classes in Flamenco dancing or Spanish cookery, taken alongside language lessons. Other special interest courses available include Spanish for Travel and Tourism, and a DELE exam preparation program, which helps students to gain an internationally recognised qualification in Spanish!

Accommodation

Live with a host family whilst you take a Spanish course in Benalmádena, and experience the local way of life at first hand! Our school selects only the friendliest, most capable families and regularly checks their accommodation, which is usually within walking distance of the school. Your family will provide you with either two meals per day, or just breakfast, depending upon your preference.

If you'd rather live with other students, choose to stay in our school's residence or shared apartments. Both consist of shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge areas, with prices at the school's residence being slightly lower. Apartments are available for single occupancy, if you'd like your own space.

Our school can also arrange aparthotel accommodation for you, just 10 minutes from the school by foot, and conveniently situated for both the beach and town centre. The aparthotel hotel has a terrace, 24-hour reception and even its own outdoor swimming pool!

Whilst you learn Spanish in Benalmádena, why not take part in activities like horse riding, tapas tours, Spanish movie-nights, windsurfing, beach volleyball and school parties? Every week, our school's activity co-ordinators think up new ways for you to enjoy yourself, with many activities included in the cost of your course.

At the weekends, you can visit places such as Seville, Granada, Córdoba and Ronda. See all that Spain has to offer!

How to get to Benalmadena

Our school organises one-way and return transfers from Malaga Airport, which is just over 10 miles away. Transfers are not included in the price of your program.

Summer Course School

Students on this very popular summer course receive 15 lessons per week, full board accommodation in host families, 3 sports activities per week, 3 evening activities, dance lessons, one full day excursion + one half day excursion per week, plus two-way airport transfers.
