Our French language school in Aix-en-Provence is ideally located, just 2 minutes' walk from the pedestrianised historic centre of the city. If you choose to learn French at our school in Aix-en-Provence, you'll be studying in a beautiful former private mansion, with 15 sunny classrooms and free Internet access. Our fully qualified, native French teachers are exceptionally friendly, and our students often return to the school year after year. Our school has a sun terrace - a favourite with our students, and an ideal place to practise the French you've learnt in class!

Accommodation in Aix-en-Provence
To really immerse yourself in French language and Provençal culture, stay with one of our carefully selected host families. All our host families live within 20 minutes of the school, by foot or by bus. You can choose from one or two meals a day (breakfast, or breakfast and dinner) with your host family. Provençal cuisine rarely disappoints, and an evening meal with your host is the ideal occasion to practise the French you learn on your course.
Or, you can choose from a range of other accommodation options including a studio in a student residence and private apartments.

Once you arrive at our school in Aix-en-Provence, you'll want to get to know the local region and Provençal culture. Our school is passionate about helping our students get the most from their French course in Provence, and runs a comprehensive cultural activities program. A guided tour of the town, one afternoon/evening activity per week, free Internet access, and a farewell drink are included in the fees of your course.
Aix is a natural base for exploring the whole region of Provence, and our school's optional activities include cooking classes, ski trips, wine tasting, golf, tennis, riding, and excursions to locations such as Avignon and St Tropez.

Learn French and discover world famous French gastronomy! This course comprises 20 French lessons and 4 afternoon sessions of practical cookery classes. Activities include wine and cheese tasting, and a visit to a vineyard and olive mill. read more.
Language & Wine Course
This course combines 20 French lessons/week with activities such as an oenology class taught by a wine professional, wine tasting and a guided visit to a local vineyard. learn more.
Discover Provence Course
The Discover Provence Course combines 20 French lessons/week with afternoon and weekend activities including excursions to Arles, Marseilles, Avignon and Pont du Gard. Activities include a visit to Cezanne's workshop, wine tasting, a cookery lesson followed by shared dinner and a pétanque championship!
French & Painting Course
The unique light in Provence has inspired painters such as Cézanne and Van Gogh, and Aix-en-Provence is a meeting place for local artists and sculptors. On our French & Painting Course, you'll learn French in the morning, and in the afternoons you'll have painting lessons taught by a local professional artist.
How to get there
Fly to Marseille-Provence Airport and then take the shuttle bus to Aix-en-Provence (30 mins). Alternatively, fly to Nice Airport and then take the shuttle to Aix-en-Provence (2 hours).
