Learn German in Augsburg

Students in Augsburg |
Augsburg is a beautiful Bavarian university town, just an hour from Munich by coach or train. The well-preserved buildings of the centre of Augsburg, such as the Town Hall and the shopping streets of Karolinenstrasse and Maximilanstrasse, could not be more typically 'German' and give the city a cosy 'small town' feel. There are a multitude of magnificent buildings and monuments to visit, such as the 67 sixteenth-century houses of the 'Fuggerei' in the centre of Augsburg, truly 'a town within a town'.

However as Augsburg is also a bustling, modern city, it has a great deal to offer at any time of the year, with many cultural events, festivals and exhibitions. This is an undeniably and authentically 'German' destination, a wonderful location in which to study the language and to come to know the people of this fascinating country.
