Our English language school in Bournemouth is located in a quiet, residential area, just minutes' from the town centre, and very close to the town's main train and coach stations. The school building was built in the 19th Century, and retains many of its charming original features. Recently modernised, the school offers excellent facilities for students, including 15 classrooms, a library and bookshop, 2 self-access centres with 30 computers with broadband Internet access, language laboratory units and wireless Internet throughout. The school also has its own cafeteria, where it is possible to purchase hot and cold meals, drinks and snacks.

Our school offers group and private courses, as well as combined courses of group and one-to-one tuition. Our school also offers academic year courses, university preparation courses and exam preparation courses for students preparing to take their Cambridge, IELTS and BEC exams. Our school also offers a brilliant options programme which consists of 20 general English language lessons per week plus either 1 options subject (4 lessons per week) or 2 options subjects (8 lessons per week). Options subjects include exam preparation, speaking and pronunciation practice, reading, writing and listening skills, Business English, English for Tourism, Hotel and Hospitality or media studies.

Accommodation in Bournemouth

You can choose to stay in host family or shared student house accommodation during your stay in Bournemouth. Shared student house accommodation is offered on a self-catering basis, whilst host family accommodation is offered on a half board basis.

Cultural Activities

The wide range of activities on offer at our school in Bournemouth presents you with the perfect opportunity to practice your English outside of the classroom, as well as delve into the local culture and explore the local area. Examples of activities offered include lectures on British culture, song nights, film nights and conversation groups, as well as sports including volleyball and 5-a-side football. Regular excursions to local places of interest such as the Dorset coast, Bath and London are also arranged by the school.
