Facilities include 17 classrooms, a multimedia centre in each school building with free WiFi internet and two student lounges with vending machines, widescreen TVs and snooker tables, for catching up with fellow students and relaxing. Both of the school buildings boast their own gardens and a local kiosk owner visits the school each day, selling all kinds of snacks and refreshments!

Students need to have some prior knowledge of English in order to study at our school in Bristol, so this is not an available programme for complete beginners. There will be a level placement test on the first day of your course, to ensure that you are placed in exactly the correct class, according to your English level on your arrival and you will study only with other students at the same level. The first day is taken up with orientation, a welcome lunch and a tour around the city, so your classes will begin on the second day.
The main and most popular course, offered at all levels, are the Super-Intensive, general English courses, with a minimum of 28 language lessons each week and an average class size of just 10 students per class. The lessons take place in the mornings and also on four afternoons every week. Two hours each week are devoted to a special, optional conversation club and there is also a unique personal study programme, including 4 hours of study each week supervised by a teacher. Here you have the chance to discuss or to work on any difficulties that you may be experiencing with any aspect of the language and you will receive invaluable support, individual attention and feedback from your teacher. The course book and all other teaching materials are included in the fees.
The more ambitious students at our school in Bristol have the opportunity to choose from a range of afternoon electives twice a week, in place of the standard conversation sessions, which are included in the programme. These electives give students of higher levels of English the chance to further their skills and their vocabulary with such topics as: Business English, British Life and Culture, English Literature and Film studies, to name just a few!
Exam Preparation Courses for the internationally recognised Cambridge exams are also offered to students at our Bristol school. Please contact us for details of the exam dates and respective course start dates. These courses pay close attention to the exam syllable, in addition to practice working on past exam papers. The school’s qualified and experienced teachers will be able to introduce you to the specific techniques and skills needed for your best possible exam result.
