On a narrow peninsula jutting out into both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, the ancient seafaring town of Cadiz is also a wonderful location for those who love the sea!

The local cuisine, which has been heavily influenced by this affinity with the sea, is rich in fish and seafood dishes, as well as delicious fruit, vegetables, cheese and beef from the surrounding region. If you would like to improve your confidence in spoken Spanish and learn as much as possible during your stay in Cadiz, we would certainly always recommend host family accommodation, as your hosts will encourage you to speak Spanish with them. However, if you would prefer to live more independently, you may like to consider shared apartment accommodation.

Cultural activities

Cultural activities including talks on Spanish cinema and artists, flamenco shows in the school, sports and visits to the old town are offered by our school in Cadiz on a regular basis. This will give you the opportunity to practice your Spanish outside of the classroom, as well as experience Spanish culture and the beautiful city in which you are studying. Excursions to other places of interest, such as Tangiers in Morocco, are also arranged.
