The oldest city in the Iberian Peninsula, Cadiz is a typically ‘Andalusian’ city with many well-preserved examples of historic architecture and monuments. On a narrow peninsula jutting out into both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, the ancient seafaring town of Cadiz is also a wonderful location for those who love the sea!
The local cuisine, which has been heavily influenced by this affinity with the sea, is rich in fish and seafood dishes, as well as delicious fruit, vegetables, cheese and beef from the surrounding region. In addition, the locals are renowned for being extremely welcoming and it is this, as well as its fantastic history, cultural heritage and stunning beaches that make it the ideal location in which to learn Spanish!
