Local favourites include Tortillitas de camarones (shrimp cakes) and pestiños (honey fritters). If you can bear to leave the stunning beaches of Cádiz behind for a while, travel inland to the exciting city of Seville or to one of Andalusia’s famous ‘white towns’. You could even take a ferry across to Tangiers, in exotic Morocco!

Accommodation

Get a real taste of Andalusian life – stay with a Spanish host family in Cádiz! Careful selection by our school ensures that only the most friendly and welcoming host families are used. As well as half board or full board accommodation, you will also get the chance to practice your Spanish all the time!

Alternatively, share an apartment with other students taking a Spanish course in Cádiz with us. All apartments are conveniently positioned, near to beaches or the city centre, and are equipped with a lounge, bathroom and kitchen.

Cultural activities

Flamenco lesson

Our school makes sure you have a great time as you learn Spanish in Cádiz! Flamenco and Salsa dance classes, barbecues, Spanish film evenings and school parties all take place on-site at the school. The school help you to discover Cádiz with guided tours of the city, its museums and churches, as well as taking you out to eat and drink! Meet local students with language exchanges, when you can chat in Spanish and develop your conversational skills.

Full-day excursions are also included in the activities program. Walk the historic streets of El Puerto de Santa Maria, just across the bay from Cádiz. You might visit Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its vineyards, or scenic Medina-Sidonia, with its beautiful white-washed houses. A nearby National Park is another regular destination for weekend trips.
