If you decide to learn French in Cannes, you could find yourself learning to sail in the Mediterranean, or roller-blading down the Croisette, Cannes' seafront promenade made famous by the stars!

With Nice, Monaco and St Tropez all nearby, Cannes is an ideal location for our French course for Young Students (14-17 years)!

The Campus

Our French language school in Cannes is located in a beautiful 19th century building, set in its own private grounds. Our school is just 10 minutes' walk from the town centre and 20 minutes' walk from the beach! There are excellent on-site facilities, including a residence, self-service cafeteria, TV room and sports fields.

Courses

Choose from our Standard Course (20 French lessons/week) or our Intensive Course (20+6 minigroup French lessons/week). At our French language school in Cannes , we keep our class sizes to a maximum of 15 students, or 6 students in mini-group lessons. All our French teachers are fully qualified and experienced native speakers.

Don’t forget, you can learn French in Cannes for just one week, or for up to 7 weeks. Our Standard and Intensive courses take place throughout July and August.

Excursion to water park

Accommodation

You can choose to stay in a host family, or in our on-site residence. Both options include full board (3 meals/day).

If you choose our on-site residence, you’ll stay in a spacious bedroom, sharing with 2 or 3 other students from your course. There’s a free shuttle bus service between our campus and the beach, so you’ll find it easy to get around during your French course in Cannes.

If you want to be fully immersed in the French language during your course in Cannes, ask to stay a host family. Our carefully selected host families are used to welcoming younger students, and will soon make you feel at home! You’ll stay in a twin room with a fellow student from our school.

Remember, if you decide to stay in a host family, you’ll still take part in all the activities and excursions offered to students staying at our on-site residence, so you’ll find it easy to make friends!

Activities

One of the things our students tell us they like about our French course in Cannes is the number of activities and excursions our school provides.

You’ll spend one afternoon learning to sail in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean, and enjoy one evening barbecue or crêpes party/week!

There will also be one full day excursion each weekend to locations such as Monaco or a water park, and one half day excursion per week to locations such as Nice and Antibes!

Our school also arranges optional activities such as water-skiing and horse-riding for an additional charge. Please contact us for further details.

Supervision

If you’re staying in the residence or in a family, and want to go out at night, you need to get your parents to sign a ‘parental consent’ form in order for you to do so. Our group leaders live on site and provide 24 hour supervision and extra activities for students who do not have parental consent to go off campus. Students staying in our host families are accompanied home after parties on campus and excursions.

How to get to Cannes

To get to Cannes, fly to Nice Airport . For students arriving on a Sunday and departing on a Saturday, there is a free two-way transfer from Nice Airport and Cannes Train Station. We can also arrange an airport transfer for you. Please contact us for details.
