When it comes to pizza, Neapolitans are some of the most knowledgeable and opinionated people in the world! Pizza can be traced back in Naples as far as 1889, when cook Raffaele Esposito prepared a special pizza in honour of Queen Margherita of Italy. There is no better location than Naples in which to learn the professional technique of pizza-making! Learn how to create the perfect pizza from simple ingredients such as olive oil, flour, water, tomato and mozzarella cheese!
By the end of this 19-week course, you will be competent in every aspect of pizza making and pizza parlour management! First, you’ll have 4 weeks Intensive Italian Course, followed by 4 weeks Professional Pizza-making course. This is followed by a further 11 weeks Intensive Italian Course, in conjunction with evening work experience in a pizzeria. Under the guidance of a professional pizza chef, you’ll learn advanced techniques in kneading, seasoning, dressing and baking!
