French with Wine & Cooking Course

Antibes

In Provençal cookery, knowing what to select outside the kitchen is just as important as what goes on inside the kitchen! If you're looking for a course that will give you a thorough understanding of French food and drink, from market to table, then this is the course for you! You'll discover how to select the best honey, olive oil, wine and cheese, by talking to the farmers who make it! What's more, our friendly French cookery teacher will show you how to get the best from the produce you have selected, in a series of practical, hands-on workshops.

Some of the local wines, Antibes

There are 3 activities/week included in your course. First, you'll discover how to distinguish the different varieties of Provençal honey at a beekeeper's. There's also a visit to an olive farm (+ tasting) and a wine tasting at a prestigious château. Cookery workshops include a visit to the market, preparation of a 3 course meal, a jam workshop, and a Provençal tarts workshop.
