Bordeaux
If you want to learn about French wine, then Bordeaux is certainly the place to do it! Bordeaux has over 9,000 wine producing chateaux, and the first-growth red wines from Médoc and Graves are among the most highly regarded and expensive wines in world! Take our French & Wine course, and you’ll learn about the wine-making process, how to blend Bordeaux like a professional and how to distinguish the good from the bad! What’s more, you’ll taste some of the greatest vintages of the Bordeaux classics!

 French & Wine in Bordeaux |
Learn French in the mornings, and in the afternoons, discover Bordeaux wines at the prestigious École de Bordeaux! During this week-long course, you'll discover a different aspect of Bordeaux wines every day! On Monday afternoon, you'll start with the great Bordeaux Whites, from the sweet Sauternes wine to Bordeaux's dry white wines. On Tuesday, you'll move on to Bordeaux's world-famous red wines, blending your own wine under the guidance of a professional. By Wednesday, you'll be ready for a visit to the famous Medoc red wine vineyards, home to Mouton-Rotschild, Latour and Lafite. Thursday's afternoon session includes a wine tasting and lesson on understanding the Bordeaux wine classifications. On the last day of your course, you'll visit the beautiful medieval wine-making town of St Emilion, a UNESCO world heritage site.
