Salvador de Bahia, home to the great Bahian cuisine, is a favourite with Brazilian gourmets! Bahian cuisine is a unique fusion of African, Indian and Portuguese cuisine, dating back to colonial times. With staple ingredients such as palm oil, chile, coconut milk, banana and okra, Bahian cuisine is rich, delicious and satisfying! Learn how to cook some of the classic Bahian dishes on our Portuguese and Cookery Course!

Portuguese & Cookery Course

Our school's cookery lessons are a lot of fun! Simply choose a dish you would like to prepare, and our friendly cookery teacher will show you how! Each student prepares a different dish, and after the lesson the food is enjoyed with a drink or even a cocktail! A booklet of recipes is included in the cost of your course.

Suitability

Don't worry if you've never cooked Brazilian-style before, or if you don't know much Portuguese - you'll find these cookery classes a lot of fun whatever your level!
