Gozo is the second of the two main islands of Malta and is the perfect location for those who wish to learn English in a smaller, quieter location, where the pace of life is incredibly relaxed! Gozo is an island full of unspoilt bays, stunning beaches and mysterious caves and grottos, meaning there is plenty to be explored and discovered! The breathtaking landscape is rugged and perfect for those who enjoy walking, rock climbing, cycling and trekking, whilst the clear blue waters surrounding the island are ideal for snorkelling, fishing, sailing, kayaking, diving and windsurfing! The island is also home to the oldest freestanding temples in the world, the Ggantija temples, which are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as traditional towns, churches and fortifications. The island also offers many fantastic restaurants offering both local and international cuisine, as well as fantastic markets, shops, opera and horse racing!

Our English language school in Gozo

Our English language school in Gozo is located in the heart of Victoria (often referred to locally by its original name, Rabat) and is just a short walk from restaurants, cafes and the Citadel. The classrooms are bright and air conditioned and there is a computer room and library. The school also offers free Internet and wireless Internet access, as well as free tea and coffee for students.

Our English language courses in Gozo

• Group courses: 20 or 30 English language lessons per week, maximum 14 students per class.
• Mini-group courses: 20 English language lessons per week, maximum 5 students per class.
• Private courses
• Private Business English courses: 20 lessons per week
• English and Diving course: 20 English lessons plus 5 diving lessons per week
• Cambridge exam preparation course (extra): 10 exam preparation lessons per week, to be taken in conjunction with a ‘normal’ language course
• Family course: 20 lessons per week
• English in the Teacher’s home course: 20 private lessons per week plus accommodation in the teacher’s home on a half board basis

You may also be interested to learn that we offer a multi-stay option at our schools in Gozo and St Julian's Bay, meaning that you can book and pay for one course and divide your time between the two locations.

Cultural activities

Our English language school in Gozo regularly arranges activities for students including English language poetry evenings, swimming and snorkelling, country walks, barbecues, visits to historic sites, silk screen painting, lace making, boat trips, fishing trips and wine tasting amongst many, many others!

We would be happy to arrange airport transfers for you from Malta International Airport, although these are not included in the course price.
