Our Russian language school in Kiev

Our school in Kiev has been recently refurbished, and boasts first-class facilities for students. These include free wireless internet throughout, a library, language laboratory, conference room, film theatre, snack bar and air conditioning. Our school is located in the historic centre of Kiev, very close to the ruins of the ancient city gate and the St. Sofia Cathedral!

At our school in Kiev, you will be taught by highly qualified teachers who are extremely experienced in teaching Russian to foreign students. All of these teachers are native speakers of Russian. In terms of group Russian language courses, students can choose from the 'Standard' course, which consists of 20 lessons per week and has an average class size of 7 (max. 10 students per class) or the 'Mini-Group' course which offers the same number of lessons per week, but with a smaller class size of 6 students. Our school in Kiev also offers private courses, as well as combined courses of 20 group lessons per week plus 5 or 10 private lessons per week.

For students wishing to make the most progress possible during their time in Kiev, our school offers a 4 week 'Full Immersion' course, which consists of the Mini-Group course, as well as private lessons. It also includes host family accommodation, all activities and excursions, two-way airport transfers and a student package, which includes a 4 week Metro pass, city guide, map and cultural awareness handbook.

Our school in Kiev offers private apartment accommodation or host family accommodation. For students wishing to immerse themselves in the Russian language and Ukrainian culture we would certainly recommend staying with a carefully selected host family on either a bed and breakfast or half board basis.

Cultural Activities

Our school in Kiev offers a full activities programme including presentations by guest speakers on Ukrainian culture, Russian-language film screenings and visits to local sites of interest, such as central Kiev (including the Golden Gate and St. Sofia Cathedral, which are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites), a Ukrainian Heritage Village, and the Pechersk Lavra Cave Monastery. All activities and excursions are conducted in Russian so that students can continue to practice and improve their Russian. Our school in Kiev also offers a fantastic 'Peer Coaching' programme, as well as a Russian Conversational Club. Both of these allow students to continue to practice and improve their Russian speaking skills outside of the classroom.

We are able to arrange airport transfers in Kiev, although these will incur an additional charge.
