Within its endlessly varied neighbourhoods you’ll discover famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and St. Paul’s Cathedral, as well as more surprising attractions. For instance, you can visit a cemetery for dogs, or explore 8000 year-old caves in Chislehurst.
If you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll be spoilt for choice, whilst London’s many beautiful parks offer an altogether more relaxed option. Whatever you’re looking for from your time in England, you’re sure to find it, and much more besides, in London!
Our English language school has four learning centres, all in central London and all equipped with spacious classrooms, computer rooms and areas where you can unwind after your English lessons. The two main sites are in the affluent area of Kensington, positioned just minutes away from Kensington Palace and superb museums like the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.
However you want to learn English in London, our school is sure to have the course for you! There are same-level group courses, like the Standard and Intensive courses, mini-group courses, one-on-one courses, and courses which combine both group and individual tuition.
The fewer people you have in your class, the more time our school’s expert teachers can devote to improving your level of English. Mini-group and Private English Lessons will, therefore, allow you to progress at a greater pace.
A number of special interest programs are available at our school, including Business English, exam preparation and a Christmas course. Students aged 50 or above can take a Club 50 + English course in London, with classes and activities exclusive to the over 50’s. At the other end of the age range, our school also runs a Family course, which gives juniors the chance to learn English whilst they visit London with their parents.
If you want to completely immerse yourself in the English language and culture, stay with one of our school’s friendly, carefully selected host families. They’ll welcome you into their home and give you all the English practice you could ever ask for!
Superior host families offer a slightly higher standard of accommodation than regular host families. Executive host families have an even higher standard of accommodation, complete with private bathrooms, in the most attractive areas of London. The maximum possible commute from your home to the school will be 45 minutes.
Host families provide some or all of your meals, depending upon your preference. If you’d rather prepare your own meals though, English host accommodation allows you to live in an English-speaking environment, but with the use of a kitchen.
Alternatively, you can live with your fellow students whilst you learn English in London. Our school also organises self-catering accommodation in student residences and shared apartments. Sharing a kitchen, bathroom and lounge with a TV, you’ll soon get to know your housemates! Student residences are available all over London, particularly during the summer, whilst apartments are no more than a 30-minute journey away from the school.
Join in with our school’s varied activity program to make the most of your time in England! Day trips will show you the best of this beautiful country, taking in places like the unforgettable Stonehenge, picturesque Oxford and the vibrant town of Brighton.
Throughout the week, you can enjoy activities such as movie nights, dance classes, guided tours of London, boat trips on the Thames and evenings spent in traditional English pubs. You’ll experience all that’s best about London and make lots of new friends at the same time!
Our school can arrange transportation from several London airports and train stations. Please be aware, however, that transfers are not included with your English course in London.
