If you learn Spanish in Mexico City, you’re in for a unique experience! Mexico City, at 2200 metres above sea level is one of the largest, oldest and most exciting cities in the world! Be prepared for a city where ancient Aztec pyramids stand alongside colonial mansions and skyscrapers.

With no less than 5 Aztec temples and two UNESCO world heritage sites, Mexico City is a feast for the eyes. And it doesn’t stop there! You’ll also find really tasty food, great nightlife and over 160 museums and 100 art galleries, so there’s plenty to keep you busy!

Our school in Mexico City

Our school is located in the centre of Mexico City, in the Colonia Condesa, which is one of the most beautiful and fashionable parts of the city. You’ll find trendy restaurants, bistros, clubs, pubs and shops all close by, as well as a metro and bus stop.

Our school occupies a beautiful old colonial building with 6 classrooms, computer room and coffee area (coffee is free of charge). Our school is really friendly, so you’ll soon feel at ease – so much so that many students choose to extend their stay!

Your Spanish course in Mexico City

Visit to Aztec Temple

You can choose from a wide range of Spanish courses at our school in Mexico City. In addition to our Standard, Intensive and One to One courses, during July and August you can also choose to take our Mexican Cuisine class. This takes place at a local hacienda (former colonial estate) and is a lot of fun – your taste buds will never be the same again! The maximum class size at our school in Mexico City is just 9 students.

If you’ve got time to spare, you may be interested in one of our volunteer or work placement opportunities in Mexico City. You can volunteer in a range of local community projects. Alternatively, internships are open to students taking a minimum 4 week course at our school and who have a good level of Spanish. Our school can arrange internships in a variety of industries, including tourism, teaching, art and IT. Internships can last from 6 weeks to one year, and some internships are paid.

Breaktime at our school

If you’re looking for complete convenience, then choose our on-site school residence. You can stay in a single, twin or triple room, all in the same building as our school. There’s one bathroom for every 2 rooms, plus washing machine, TV, kitchen, towels and bed linen.

If you’d like to make as much progress as possible with your Spanish during your stay, we’d recommend staying in one of our carefully selected host families. Mexicans are known for their open, friendly nature and their hospitality, so you’ll soon feel at home! We also have university residence and hostel options available.

Cultural Activities

Our school’s activity program will certainly keep you busy! Activities such as films in the school, football matches and visits to museums are included in the fees. Optional activities include trips to the pyramids, weekend visits to Cuernavaca, Guanajuato, San Miguel and Acapulco.
