Montreal, the world’s largest bilingual city, is a wonderful location in which to learn French. Montreal has a beautiful historic town centre, first rate shopping facilities, museums, theatres and parks. 20 French lessons/week, plus 8 private lessons/week
‘Intensive Plus’ French Course
This course consists of 25 French lessons/week, plus 8 private lessons/week and is ideal if you want to learn as much French as possible in the time available to you.
French and Work Experience
The work placement is unpaid. Students wishing to join this program need an advanced level of both French and English, as they will be placed in a bi-lingual working environment. Before starting the work placement, you need to attend a minimum 4-week 30-lessons/week course at our school in Montreal, focusing on practical communication skills for the workplace, resume writing and interview techniques.

Canadian host family

Staying with a French-speaking Canadian host family is the best way to be totally immersed in the French language and in Canadian culture. The families are carefully selected by our school in Montreal to provide a welcoming environment and a good standard of accommodation.

Instead of staying with a French Canadian host family, you may choose to stay in one of our school’s residences. There are rooms with both private and shared bathrooms, as well as shared cooking facilities and a good standard of accommodation. One of the residences is located just 5 minutes walk from our school.

Our French language school in Montreal offers an extensive program of visits, excursions, sports and other activities. There is a guided tour of Montreal, museum visits, parties, salsa and Karaoke evenings. You can also join a very popular St Lawrence boat cruise, cycling excursions, Tango lessons, trips to Niagara Falls, Quebec, plus weekend excursions to New York and Boston. The cultural program is designed to help you practice the French that you learn at our school in Montreal, but also ensures that you thoroughly enjoy your time in Canada.

French Summer Course for Juniors,
July-August (13-17 years)

This French language course in Montreal combines 15 French lessons/week with a full program of supervised afternoon activities, 3 meals/day, single room accommodation in carefully selected French Canadian host families, as well as 2-way airport transfers from/to Montreal Airport.

Typical activities: guided walks, jet-boating, canoeing, nature walks, Major League baseball game, cycling, St Leonard Caves, planetarium, picnics, mini-golf. Optional weekend excursions: Toronto, Niagara Falls, Quebec.
