Learn German in Munster, Germany

Munster is a city full of culture, charm...and above all, students! Learn German in Munster, and you'll be one of over 55,000 students in the city! Visit the popular Kuhviertel district (Cow district) of the city in the evening, and you'll see students enjoying the local beer at communal tables in the old pubs and restaurants. There, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, and simply, tasty food on the menu such steak, dumplings and fresh berries! In addition to countless museums, concerts and plays, Munster also hosts both traditional and modern festivals throughout the year. The Send Fair is a particular favourite with our students, and its food stalls and rides occupy the square in front of Munster's beautiful castle in March, June and December.

Accommodation in Munster

For true immersion in the German language and culture, we’d recommend staying in a shared student apartment or with one of our school’s carefully-selected host families. If you choose a shared student apartment, you’ll stay in a single room and share kitchen and bathroom with German students or other students from our school. If you’d prefer to have bed and breakfast or half board (2 meals/day), then choose our host family option – most families are within walking distance of the school, or within an easy bike ride or on a major bus route. For complete independence, private bathroom and kitchen, stay in a studio apartment.
