Learn Italian in Sardinia

Choose to learn Italian in Sardinia, and you know you're getting something special! Our school in Sardinia is located in Alghero, a perfect little town on the Coral Coast. You can't help but relax in Alghero - the whole area is one of outstanding natural beauty, the beaches are spotless and the water is warm and clear! Take your time to explore the town's old cobbled streets and beautiful piazzas, and you'll find some fantastic restaurants serving traditional Sardinian dishes.

The people of Alghero are known for demanding the best in life, and the local restaurateurs rarely disappoint! At sunset, you'll find the streets full of people, as the locals love to see and been seen! Whilst you're in Alghero, don't forget to visit the Grotta di Nettuno, Alghero's famous caves - you can take a boat, or if you're feeling adventurous, make the climb of 656 steps down to sea level!

You can learn Italian at our school in Alghero, Sardinia from May to October, when the island enjoys fantastic weather. Our school is ideally located, near the seafront and the town's main shopping street. The staff at our school are very friendly, so if there's anything you need, just ask! Our school can arrange bicycle hire for you if you require.

Our school in Alghero offers a wide range of quality Italian courses, taught by fully qualified and friendly native Italian speakers. There's a maximum class size of 9 students, so you can be sure you'll get plenty of help and individual attention during your course. Accommodation in Alghero

Shared student apartment

If you’d like to share with other students from our school or Italians during your course, then stay in one of our shared student apartments. This is a great option if you’re travelling alone, as you’ll quickly get to know other students from our school. You’ll stay in a spacious and comfortable single room, and share kitchen and bathroom with other students. If you’re travelling with another student or as part of a couple, you can request a twin room. If you’d like to practise as much Italian as possible out of class, we’d recommend staying with one of our carefully-selected host families.

Italian & Cookery Course

Sardinian cuisine is one of Italy's most distinctive cuisines, and yet it is one of the least complicated. Using quality local ingredients and simple, tried and tested recipes, learn how to cook like a Sardinian on our Italian & Cookery Course! This course is practical in nature, and the cookery lessons take place in the kitchens of our school's shared student apartments. You'll have 20 Italian lessons/week plus 3 practical cookery lessons/week. Our school's cookery teachers are all professional cooks, who work in the local cookery school and Alghero's restaurants.

Italian & Sailing Course

Sunny Sardinia is the ideal location to learn how to sail, and you can do so on an Italian & Sailing Course at our school! You'll have 20 Italian lessons/week, plus 15 sailing lessons/week. The sailing lessons take place in Alghero or nearby Fertilia every weekday from 3-6pm. Our school's sailing teacher is a fully qualified and experienced, and is affiliated to Alghero's Yacht Club.

Italian & Windsurfing Course

Make the most of Sardinia's fantastic weather by combining your Italian course with windsurfing! Our Italian & Windsurfing course comprises 20 Italian lessons/week plus 15 windsurfing lessons/week.

Italian & Scubadiving Course

The waters of the Coral Coast are extremely clear, so Alghero is an ideal location for scubadiving. Our Italian & Scubadiving Course includes 20 Italian lessons/week plus 15 Scubadiving lessons/week.

Italian & Tennis Course

Our Italian & Tennis Course offers students the perfect combination: learn Italian in the morning, relax on the beach in the afternoon and in the evenings, improve your tennis skills with a professional tennis teacher from the Federazione Italiana Maestri di Tennis! You'll have 20 Italian lessons/week plus 15 tennis lessons/week.
