Our English language school occupies a striking, traditional building on the edge of Oxford's historic centre. Inside are a restaurant, library, student common room and computer room with free Internet access. There's also a patio area, leading out onto our school's own private gardens!

Your English course in Oxford

You can choose a group-based program, Private English Lessons, or a combination of both. The Standard and Intensive courses take place in groups, giving you the chance to meet and interact with plenty of other students. Private Lessons, on the other hand, give you the undivided attention of your teachers, helping you to make rapid progress. You can also customise individual classes to suit your own requirements and interests.

A number of special interest courses are available at our school, including Business English, Legal English, Medical English and English for Teachers. In common with all of our school’s English courses, these programs teach speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, but with added emphasis on specialised vocabulary. Our school also offers exam preparation courses, should you want to gain a qualification in English.

Accommodation

If you want to learn as much English as possible, live with a local host family in Oxford! Our school works with friendly families who’ve been hosting students for years, helping them to perfect their English through everyday practice. Your family will provide you with two meals each day throughout the week, and three meals per day at the weekend. Normally, you’ll share a bathroom with your hosts, but private bathrooms are available with executive host family accommodation.

Activities

Complement your English course in Oxford with countless activities, all arranged by the school. From sporting events to school parties, theatre evenings to special dinners out, you’ll always find great new ways to enjoy your free time. Our school will gladly collect you from either Heathrow Airport or Gatwick Airport, although this service does cost extra.
