If you like snorkelling, sunbathing, scuba diving or whale watching, then you’ll love Puerto Vallarta in Mexico! Learn Spanish in Puerto Vallarta, and you’ll be studying on the famous Mexican Riviera, on the Pacific Coast. With 300 days’ sunshine a year, great nightlife, regular festivals and more than 40 beaches, the city is a favourite destination with holiday makers and Mexicans alike! For many students, the highlight of their Spanish course is having the opportunity to see whales and dolphins at first hand. For five months of the year, Puerto Vallarta’s bay is home to a colony of humpback whales, whilst the city’s clean waters attract dolphins year round! With so much happening in and around the city, whatever the time of year, you’ll find plenty to see and do on your Spanish course!

Our school in Puerto Vallarta

See whales during your Spanish course!

Our school is located just 2 minutes’ walk from the seafront, in the centre of Puerto Vallarta, and is surrounded by white-washed houses and cobbled streets. There are 7 spacious classrooms, decorated in Vallarta style, plus a cafeteria and an Internet area with free Internet access and Wifi access for students with their own laptops. Our school also has an open air terrace, used for salsa classes, fiesta celebrations and enjoying Puerto Vallarta’s beautiful weather!

Your Spanish course in Puerto Vallarta

The great thing about our courses in Puerto Vallarta is that whilst they are intensive enough to ensure good progress, they also leave you with plenty of time to enjoy the city or relax on the beach! The maximum class size is just 5 students, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and you’ll receive lots of attention from our school’s friendly, fully qualified teachers.

Accommodation in Puerto Vallarta

Are you unsure about staying with a host family? Don’t be! All our school’s host families are carefully selected and most have worked with our school for years. To help us get the best possible match between you and your host family, simply let us know your preferences when you make your booking. Whether you want to stay with a traditional family with children, or you’d prefer your host to be of a similar age to you, we’ll do our best to meet your requirements. You can choose to have bed and breakfast, or half board (2 meals/day).

To help you get the most from your Spanish course in Puerto Vallarta, our school offers a cultural activities program, including cookery and salsa lessons, trips to mountains villages around Puerto Vallarta, film evenings and parties. Our school also organises weekend trips to locations such as Guadalajara – very popular with our students! Please note there is an additional cost for some activities and excursions.
