Our school is located in a comfortable, modern building with air-conditioning and wireless hotzones throughout. In addition to 10 spacious classrooms, there's a school garden - perfect for relaxing and practising the Chinese you've learnt in class!

Your Chinese course in Shanghai

We offer a range of Chinese courses in Shanghai, taught by fully qualified, native Mandarin speakers. What's more, the maximum class size is just 8 students, so you'll receive plenty of individual help and attention. Our popular Standard Course takes place in the mornings, leaving you plenty of time to explore the city! If you want to concentrate on a particular area of Chinese, why not try one of our combined courses? You'll have 20 group lessons/week, plus 4, 8 or 10 private lessons/week.

If you like, you could even do part of your Chinese course in Shanghai and part of it in the fascinating capital, Beijing! A multi-stay course allows you to divide your time between our Shanghai school and our Beijing Option 3 school.

Homework in our shared apartment

If you'd like to study Chinese in Shanghai, we'd recommend staying in one of our shared apartments. Just 10 minutes' walk from the school, these shared apartments (single rooms only) have free broadband Internet, telephone with free local calls, TV, air-conditioning, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. You'll share with other students from our school. Would you prefer a little comfort and privacy during your Chinese course ? Then stay in an air-conditioned , private studio apartment, with the same great amenities as our school’s shared apartments, including free broadband Internet access.

Cultural Activities

One of the things our students like about our school in Shanghai is the range of activities available. At least one activity per week is included in the price of your course, including walking tours of the city. You can also choose from a range of optional weekend excursions, such as a trip to the beautiful cities of Yangzhou and Hangzhou or a trip to the famous ancient town of Wuzhen.
