French and Ski/Snowboard Instructors Course in Montreux, Switzerland

Combine learning French with training as a ski/snowboard instructor at our school in Montreux, Switzerland! On this 8-week course, you’ll spend 5 weeks learning French at our school in Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Then, for weeks 6 to 8, you’ll be transported to the beautiful ski resort of Leysin, over 1200m above sea level in the Swiss Alps, for training to be a ski/snowboard instructor!

In weeks 1-5, the course includes 20 French lessons/week, plus host family, twin room, half board accommodation. As a student at our school in Montreux, you can take part in the activities program our school offers every week, including excursions, sports activities and parties.

You’ll spend weeks 6-8 of the course at our school in Leysin, a ski resort in the Swiss Alps. There, the course will include 3 weeks ski/snowboarding instructor training (methodological coaching, ski pass for whole stay, video analysis), 2 full days glacier skiing, Swiss snowshoes hike & fondue evening, excursion to Lausanne, 1 ‘wellness’ evening in natural thermal baths, plus twin room, half board accommodation in a hotel! You can also take part in optional activities at an extra cost, such as paragliding, heli-ski and cross-country skiing.

Suitability

For this course, you’ll need an intermediate or above level of French, plus at least a basic level of skiing (eg parallel turns, moguls and carving).
