German and Skiing in Vienna, Austria

Did you know that Vienna has its own ski slopes, within the city itself? You can learn German in the morning at our school, and spend your afternoons and evenings skiing or snowboarding! Vienna is also within easy reach of many of Austria’s world famous ski resorts, such as Hirschenkogel and Otscher, perfect for weekend ski trips.

Course

On the slopes, Vienna

Learn German at our school in Vienna, and ski whenever you feel like it! Vienna’s Hohe Wand-Wiese is just half an hour from Vienna city centre by public transport, and is open until 9.30pm on week days, and until 10pm at weekends. What’s more, ski passes are available at prices to suit all budgets!

For great skiing at weekends, catch the train to Hirschenkogel, host to the FIS World Cup Giant Slalom Race. Hirschenkogel offers excellent skiing for all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Work Placement

If you want to extend your stay, why not consider a ski resort work placement? Our school in Vienna offers placements between 4 and 12 weeks in hotels, travel agencies and ski schools. Please contact us for further details.

Our school in Vienna offers German courses for all levels, from beginners to advanced. The Hohe Wand-Wiese is particularly good for students who are new to the slopes, whilst nearby resort Hirschenkogel offers world class skiing.
