Using wireless Internet in the school

Our Spanish school in Tarifa couldn't be more conveniently located - just across the road from the beach and 2 minutes' from the old town. All the classrooms in our school are air-conditioned, and there's a small Internet café with free access, plus wireless Internet access throughout the school.

The staff at our school are really friendly, so if you've got any questions whilst you're there, please don't hesitate to ask!

Spanish & Windsurfing Course

Windsurfing in Tarifa

This two week course is suitable for all levels, whether it's your first time on a board or you already windsurf at an advanced level.

You'll have your Spanish lessons in the morning, and then windsurf in the afternoons or during the mornings at weekends. There are 20 Spanish lessons/week, plus 10 hours windsurfing, and the maximum class size for windsurfing lessons is 4 students. This course runs April to November, depending on weather conditions.

Spanish & Kitesurfing Course

Our kitesurfing course is available year round and provides you with the professional instruction you need to kitesurf safely. There are 20 Spanish lessons/week, plus 12 hours kitesurfing lessons.

The kitesurfing lessons take place Mon-Fri in the afternoons on a choice of several beaches, depending on weather conditions. This course is designed for beginners although more advanced students can be integrated into the class.

Spanish & Diving Course

Diving in Tarifa is quite different to anywhere else in the world! You'll be diving between two continents, which means there's a great variety of aquatic life. Our experienced and responsible diving tutors know the best diving spots. This course includes 20 Spanish lessons/week plus 6 diving excursions. Don't forget to bring your diving licence! Times of diving excursions depend on weather and tidal conditions.

Spanish & Whale Watching Course

Tarifa is located at the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet, making for a high concentration of marine life, including Pilot whales, Sperm whales, Killer whales and Bottlenose dolphins. Our Spanish and Whale Watching Course includes 20 Spanish lessons/week plus 2-4 whale watching excursions by boat (depending on the weather) and 2-4 alternative activities. A total of 6 activities (2 hours each) over the 2 weeks are guaranteed. Whale watching excursions usually take place on weekday afternoons from 4pm.

Spanish & Horseriding Course

There can be few more picturesque places to go horse riding than in Tarifa! Ride along Tarifa's beaches, with views of Africa in the background, or go trekking in the beautiful Los Alcornocales national park. This course includes 20 Spanish lessons/week plus 15 hours horse riding over 2 weeks.

Spanish & Climbing Course

The Rocks of Betis in Tarifa offer over 250 routes for all levels. On our Spanish & Climbing Course, you'll receive 20 Spanish lessons/week plus 3x3 hours climbing/week. The price includes climbing equipment, a guide and transport. We recommend bringing your own climbing shoes if possible.

Spanish & Mountain Biking Course

The coastal trails around Tarifa and the trails in the Los Alcornocales nature reserve are popular with mountain bikers. This course includes 20 Spanish lessons/week plus 3 bike rides/week (2 hours each). Equipment, a guide and technical support are included in the price of your course.

How to get to Tarifa

Fly to Malaga, Jerez or Gibraltar. Then take the bus. Airport transfers are available - please contact us for details. Alternatively, our school can arrange car hire.

Tarifa Summer Course for Young Students
(13-17 years)

Spanish for 13-17 yrs in Tarifa

Tarifa is a small and traditional town - the perfect environment for a young students course. Thanks to the cooling sea breezes, temperatures in Tarifa are rarely as hot as in the rest of southern Spain. Our campus is right in the centre of Tarifa, just 3 minutes from the beach.

The course includes 15 Spanish lessons/week, airport transfers and activities such as volley ball, BBQs and treasure hunts. Optional afternoon activities include flamenco, tennis and kitesurfing. The maximum class size is 12 students.

Spanish for 7-12 yrs in Tarifa

The Light Summer Course consists of two morning Spanish classes (45 minutes each) Mon - Fri and cultural activities, leaving parents with the morning free to relax and enjoy Tarifa.
