Our school in Tenerife is located in the quiet residential area of La Paz, just 15 minutes from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island. From its origins as a port for the nearby town of La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz has developed into the perfect holiday destination for those seeking a mild, sunny and sub-tropical climate. The town is known for its fantastic shopping, restaurants and bars, elegant plazas and the beautiful church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francía, as well as its lush gardens and stunning beaches. With such fantastic surroundings, it will come as no surprise that the locals are extremely friendly and warm-hearted!

The facilities at our Spanish language school in Tenerife are excellent, and has been designed specifically to provide you with the optimum learning environment. There are 10 bright classrooms, a lecture hall with space to accommodate up to 60 people, and 3 computer rooms with high-speed Internet access. The school also has its very own cafeteria, where you can get hot and cold snacks, meals and drinks in between lessons. As well as all this, the school has a spectacular sun terrace, which not only catches the sun all day, but also offers magnificent views across the Orotava Valley and up to El Teide, the highest mountain in Spain!

Our Spanish courses in Tenerife

Whatever your requirements, our school in Tenerife is sure to offer a Spanish language course for you! The school offers group courses of 20 or 30 lessons per week, private courses and combined courses of group and one-to-one tuition, as well as Business Spanish courses, Tourism and Hotel Business Spanish courses and Spanish courses for teachers! The school also offers an exciting 'Active Spanish' course, which combines Spanish language study with diving, surfing or paragliding!

Accommodation in Tenerife

Our school offers self-catering accommodation in shared or private apartments and fincas (country cottages), or catered host family accommodation. The school is also able to arrange hotel accommodation for students. We always recommend host family accommodation to students who wish to make as much progress as possible during their time in Tenerife, as your host family will welcome you into their home and encourage you to speak Spanish with them! You can book this accommodation on a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis.

Activities

The activities programme at our school in Tenerife has been designed to help you meet and socialise with other international students, experience the local culture, and, of course, practice your Spanish outside of the classroom! Staff and students meet once a week for breakfast on the school's sun terrace, which is an excellent opportunity to meet other students. The school also organises parties, dance lessons and trips to local festivals, as well as surf lessons, beach volleyball and excursions to other local places of interest including El Teide, Barranco del Infierno and Santa Cruz.
