The Shin-Okubo district, close the very heart of Tokyo life, is the setting for our Option 2 school. Our Option 1 and Option 3 schools in Tokyo are also centrally located. As an alternative to the bustling capital, our school in Gifu allows you to sample the splendour of rural Japan.

Near to our school are many cafés and restaurants, perfect for getting to know your fellow students! The green spaces of Toyama Park are also close to the school. Inside the school are 10 classrooms, a large Internet café, library and student lounge.

You can learn Japanese in Tokyo for anything from just a few weeks to two years! Our school’s Short Term Course lasts for between two weeks and three months, with 20 Japanese lessons each week. Also including 20 Japanese lessons per week, our school’s Long Term course has a duration of one to two years. Study on the Long Term program and you’ll really get to know Tokyo!

If you need to learn Japanese quickly or would simply prefer one-to-one tuition, a course of Private Lessons is another option. You decide upon the lesson schedule and content, and benefit from the total, undivided attention of teachers.

Accommodation in Tokyo

Student in shared apartment

If you want to socialise with your fellow students, a shared student apartment is ideal! Shared facilities at these apartments include kitchens, TVs and laundry equipment. For a little more privacy, opt for a private apartment, situated close to the school. Each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom.

Cultural activities

Like our Tokyo Option 1, Tokyo Option 3 and Gifu schools, our Option 2 school offers a full range of extracurricular activities. Guided tours of Tokyo, Japanese cookery workshops and trips to Mount Fuji are just some of the possible activities. You might also visit the ancient capital, Kyoto, historic Nagoya or Japan’s second city, Osaka.
