Our Option Two Biarritz school could not be better positioned. Gorgeous beaches and Biarritz town centre are both only a five-minute walk away. Inside the school are comfortable, well equipped classrooms. Following French lessons, the outdoor recreation area is great for relaxing and meeting other students.

The French course

French lessons at our school run on weekday mornings, with Wednesdays kept free for excursions. Each week consists of 16 French lessons, all taught by highly-qualified, native French teachers. Classes are a mixture of young people from all over the world. The common language, spoken by both students and teachers, will be French, so you’ll get plenty of language practice!

Accommodation

Living with the locals in Biarritz is a great way to learn as much French as possible. Eating meals with your host family, you’ll be constantly using your language skills and the sounds of the French language will become very familiar to you. It is important to us that you have a great time as you learn French in Biarritz, and accommodation is a large part of the whole experience. Consequently, our school takes great care when selecting host families.

Activities

To complement this French summer course for teenagers in Biarritz, our school offers a variety of activities. If you want to experience the thrill of the waves in Biarritz, choose our school’s package of professional surfing or bodyboarding lessons. The package includes four three-hour sessions in the water each week, with all equipment provided.

Alternatively, you can join in with the activities program, featuring beach visits, French cookery workshops and sports, amongst other activities. Excursions are also on the agenda, taking in beautiful locations such as the fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and the breathtaking Pyrenees. You might also cross the Pyrenees for a daytrip to Spain!
