The Campus

Our summer campus sits on the edge of Freiburg, where you’ll be surrounded with nature at its finest. Just behind the school complex, verdant woods rise up into the mountains.  Yet it only takes 25 minutes to get into the city centre. A 10-minute walk away is a sports park, complete with a swimming pool and an 80m waterslide! The school has its own on-site residence, common rooms, kitchens and sporting facilities, which include volleyball courts and table-tennis tables.

The course

The course consists of 15 German lessons and four afternoon football sessions each week. Choose to stay for two, three or four weeks. German classes, all with experienced, native teachers, are 50 minutes long. The classes are made up of a maximum of 15 young students, with a similar level of German. You can take this German language course at various levels, from beginner to advanced.

Professional football coaches oversee your training, teaching you technique, tactics and much more! Then you’ll be able to put your skills to the test in games. Practice your German as you communicate with your team-mates!

Accommodation

This German and football course in Freiburg includes full-board accommodation at the school campus. Breakfast and dinner are served on-campus, with lunch at a nearby restaurant. Get to know other young students by sharing a room with four or five of them, and socializing in the common rooms. Every two bedrooms have their own shower and toilet facilities.

Activities

Our school organizes a packed activities program for your stay, so you can experience Freiburg and the surrounding area, and have a great time as well! You and your activity leaders will explore the Black Forest and Freiburg’s old town, amongst other places. In the evenings, you’ll stay closer to home for barbecues, parties, theatre-nights, painting and film-showings.

Supervision

There will always be somebody around to help you, whether it’s your teacher, an activities organizer or a group leader living in the residence. 

How to get to Freiburg

Transfers from Freiburg train station are included. School staff will collect you from the train station and take you directly to the campus.
