With a student population of 60,000, Granada is a great place for a Spanish course for 14-18 year-olds. It is a vibrant city, with many shops, cafés and other attractions. Granada is also a city alive with history. The incomparable Alhambra Palace, the breathtaking Cathedral and the whole medieval Albaicín neighbourhood all tell the story of Granada’s eventful past. Or if you want sun, sand and sea, Granada is just a 45-minute journey away from the Costa Tropical!

Our Granada school is located in the city centre, close to the Cathedral, in a historic four-storey building. All of the 10 classrooms and the study room have audio and visual facilities, and there is a library, student common room and reading room as well. You can connect to the Internet anywhere in the building, as it has wireless Internet access, or use one of the computers in the study room.

Throughout your summer stay with us in Granada, our school will organize activities to fill your afternoons, evenings and weekends. On your first day in Granada, you will have a guided tour of the city, helping you to become familiar with the area. Many sporting and cultural activities are on offer, as well as half-day and full-day excursions. You won’t want to miss our trip to the spectacular Alhambra! You can also visit other Andalucian cities, like Sevilla and Córdoba, as well as the amazing Caves of Nerja. Our cultural program makes sure that you experience Spain, make friends on the course and practice your Spanish with them!

The course

The Alhambra Palace, Granada

You will have 20 lessons per week on this Spanish course for 14-18 year-olds. The 45 minute classes begin at 9am and finish at 1pm, with breaks in between. The teachers at our school are all native Spanish speakers, highly-skilled and very experienced. The maximum class size is just 12 students, so you will have plenty of individual time with teachers.

Accommodation

For an authentic Spanish experience, choose to live with a Spanish host family, carefully selected by our school.You’ll have half-board (2 meals/day) or full board (3 meals/day) accommodation, and constant opportunities to practice your Spanish! Host families live no more than 20 minutes away from the school.

Our comfortable residence is also 20 minutes away from the school. Choose between a single or double room, and a full-board or half-board meal package. All rooms have air-conditioning and many come with en-suite bathrooms. On each floor of the residence, there are three common rooms with TVs, shared bathrooms and a kitchen.
