Summer is a great time to be on the French Riviera! Enjoy golden beaches, warm, sparkling seas and organized sports on our French course for 13-17 year-olds in Monte Carlo, which offers on-site accommodation. Home to many familiar celebrity faces and the grand Monte Carlo Casino, Monte Carlo is one of the most glamorous places in the world! Browse the elegant shops or have a coffee in the marina, where the white yachts of the rich and famous contrast beautifully against the azure waters of the Mediterranean.

Our school in Monte Carlo

Our school is located in verdant parkland, has spectacular views of the Mediterranean and is just minutes away from irresistible beaches. The school has eight spacious classrooms, three outdoor learning spaces (perfect for the summer), on-site residences, a large multi-sports area, two smaller sports fields, barbeque area, cafeteria, Internet access and even its own Greek-style amphitheatre!

There is also 24-hour security on the campus and our school has a dedicated team of carers, there to help you with any problems that you may have. Our friendly staff ensure that there is a welcoming atmosphere on the campus.

Cultural program

So that you get to know the area around Monte Carlo, as well as your fellow students, our school organizes a program of cultural visits and activities. You can sample many different sports, such as swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, table-tennis and catamaran sailing. Or you can enjoy all manner of musical and theatrical performances at the amphitheatre.

The itinerary also includes museum visits, discos, guided tours of Nice, Villefranche and other places, and fully supervised ‘Monaco by night’ trips. At the weekends, when there are no French lessons, our school devotes entire days to excursions to places such as Cannes and St Tropez, Monte Carlo’s equally stylish neighbours.

The course

Tennis lessons after class

This French course for 13-17 year-olds in Monte Carlo gives you 15 French lessons each week. Classes begin at 08:45am and finish at 12:15pm, including a 30-minute break. If you like, you can take extra classes in the afternoon, focusing either on French Art & Literature, or on preparing you for a DELF examination. All of the teachers at our language centre are fully-qualified, native French speakers.

Accommodation

In one of our on-site apartment buildings, you will share a bright and comfortable en-suite room with up to four other students from the school. Most rooms have balconies and some have stunning sea views. The course also includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in our self-service cafeteria, located in the centre of the campus
