Having fun on the course

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy Nice’s tempting beaches, sunny climate and vibrant culture! Our Option Two French program for juniors in Nice allows young students to experience France and French culture, play a variety of sports and make new friends! Accommodation is on-site, so you’ll live with your classmates, on the same secure complex where you have French lessons.

Nice really is a beautiful place, with large open squares, grand castles and a charming old town. Make the most of the summer and the azure Mediterranean Sea by going for a swim, or trying some water sports with our qualified instructors. The Campus

Young students French lesson

Nice’s stunning beaches are only 15 minutes away from our language school, and the city centre, with its boutiques and restaurants, is just a 20-minute bus ride away. At the school, there are spacious classrooms with excellent facilities, three dormitory blocks of accommodation, a cafeteria, and green leafy areas where students can play sports or simply relax! There is also 24-hour security in place at the entrance to the complex.

The French course

Your French lessons run from 9am to 12:15pm each weekday, so in the afternoons you can enjoy our activities program and practice the vocabulary you have learnt! The classes use role plays and other practical exercises, preparing you to use your French in everyday situations. For the course, you will need to have studied French for at least a year already.

You’ll be taught by native French teachers, who have lots of experience in teaching French to young people from abroad. Classes contain a maximum of 15 students, so teachers can devote lots of time to individual students, helping you with any problems you may have.

Accommodation

On this French program for juniors in Nice, you will share a large, bright room with another student of the same gender and a similar age. You will also share bathrooms, showers and a common room with the other students. Your roommates will come from all over the world, so you will learn about other cultures and use your common language, French, all the time!

Accommodation at our Option Two school in Nice is full-board (3 meals/day), with self-service breakfast, lunch and dinner available in the cafeteria. The varied menu even includes some French dishes, if you’d like to sample some local cuisine!

Activities

The beach, Nice

You’ll always have something to do during your summer in Nice, as our school organizes a huge array of activities for you. If you like sport, you’ll love our exciting activities package! Rafting, football, paragliding, basketball, kayaking, volleyball, swimming are all on the itinerary.

Even if sports aren’t your thing, you can have a great time at our beach parties, masked balls and disco evenings. Excursions to the Alps, Cannes, Monaco and Antibes will give you a flavour of the surrounding area. Also on the agenda are trips to an adventure park and various museums, where you’ll see works by Picasso, Matisse and other famous artists.

After learning lots of French and experiencing the elegant city of Nice, you’ll return home with some great memories. But before you do, there will be a farewell disco so you can say goodbye to your new friends!

Supervisors and activity organizers live on each floor of the dormitories, so they can provide round-the-clock supervision of students.

How to get to Nice

Transfers from Nice International Airport are included. Staff from our school will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation on the school complex.
