Radolfzell boasts a fantastic location, where the vividly green mountains of southern Germany meet the shimmering blue waters of Lake Constance. The town itself is extremely scenic, with tree-lined, medieval streets leading up to the magnificent gothic cathedral. Whilst you study on our German and football summer course in Radolfzell, you can enjoy fantastic views of the cathedral and the town from our school, which is next to the Radolfzell City Gardens, just moments away from the lake.

Our German language school in Radolfzell

The three-storey school building has eight well-appointed classrooms, a common room, study/computer room, language laboratory, multimedia room and cafeteria. After your German classes, have a coffee with your fellow students or make use of the free Internet access supplied by the school.

The course

The school

You’ll have 20 German lessons a week, from Monday to Friday. Classes are finished by 12pm, leaving the afternoons free for your football training sessions and other exciting activities! German lessons are taught in small groups of 12 or fewer students, so our highly-skilled, native teachers can give you lots of personal attention, and help you to learn the language quickly.

Our experienced football coaches then make sure that you develop your football skills just as quickly! You’ll have two hours of football training each weekday, at the training centre of Raldofzell Football Club. All levels of footballer are welcome, as the course includes everything from basic passing skills to the more refined techniques of the beautiful game. The German lessons also cover the fundamentals, and are intended for newcomers to German, or those with an elementary understanding of the German language. This German and football summer course in Radolfzell lasts for 13 days. You’ll leave with an award from the German Football Association (DFB), all of your training kit and some great memories of Germany!

Accommodation

Accommodation for your stay is on-site at Radolfzell Football Club’s training centre, which is, of course, very convenient for your training sessions. Staying with your team-mates in the sports hall also means that you get to know them better, and can practice your German with them.

You also have breakfast and dinner at the training centre. Lunch is provided for you at a restaurant in Radolfzell. Half-board accommodation is offered at the weekends, and there is a daily laundry service. Male and female students have separate accommodation.

Activities

Historic Radolfzell

Our school’s activities program allows you to see some of Radolfzell’s attractive surroundings and have a great time with other young students! Amongst the evening activities on offer are swimming, night walks and log fires. You can also enjoy a full-day excursion at the weekend.

All activities are supervised and dedicated carers will stay overnight at the centre, always available to help you.

How to get to Radolfzell

Transfers from Zurich or Friedrichshafen airports are included in the price of this German and football summer course in Radolfzell. If you choose to fly to Stuttgart, transfers can be arranged, at an extra cost.
